Reflections on Lessons Learned.

Generally, I think that this week Creative Studies lecture regarding ' Juxtaposition ', delivered by Mr. Mustafa is an amusing topic to be discussed by the general public nowadays. This is because not all people really understand the true meaning of the term ' Juxtaposition '. To be honest, even I as a student of Creative Multimedia who is taking the course of Creative Studies did not really understand what is the meaning of the term ' Juxtapoision ' before this. The only thing that I can best describe regarding ' Juxtaposition ' when someone asks me to explain the term is that it is an act of juxtaposing, placing two objects together side by side. However, when the lecturer explained during the lecture hour, I finally got the clearer picture of what regarding the term ' Juxtaposition ' means and at the same time I realized that the information that I had known all this while was actually just a smart piece of a huge puzzle. Based on what I understand what the lecturer has told us on the topic ' Juxtaposition ' is that, ' Juxtaposition ' is best to be described as the arrangement of two or more ideas, characters as well as actions in a similar manner for the purpose of comparison and character development. It can also be defined as the placing of two different variables which are being placed side by side to one another beside other than their contrast is shown through comparison at the same time. Aside from that, it can then be broken into one or two different sub categories which are ' juxtaposition literary ' and ' random juxtaposition '.
